Weekend Record Recommender
A tool for rediscovering what's already on the record shelf
The Weekend Record Recommender is a tool I built to bridge two things that had no way of talking to each other — my week of digital listening and my ~600-record vinyl collection. Every Friday it pulls my listening history, cross-references it against my Discogs collection, and surfaces 4–5 records to consider playing that weekend, weighted toward older and less-familiar picks. I built it entirely through conversation with Claude. It’s in testing now and I’m making small changes to make it a little better each week.
